Methodology
How a Devkernel Base macroeconomic indicator impact review is scoped, written, and delivered around the release calendar.
Our custom service page is the working method behind every flagship review. It is not software. It is a sequence of human judgements timed to the release calendar.
1. Mandate capture
You name the indicator, the deadline, and the exposures in scope. We refuse vague “whole market” briefs. If the book cannot be described in asset-class and region terms, we pause until it can.
2. Calendar and narrative scan
We place the release against prior prints, consensus, and the stories already circulating on the desk. The goal is to know which surprise thresholds would actually matter for your holdings.
3. Framing note
When time allows, a short pre-release note states base assumptions and the paths we will stress. Committees often annotate this before the print lands.
4. Impact memorandum
After the release, we rewrite consequence: curve and FX moves, sector or factor tilts, and a short watchlist. Length serves clarity — typically six to ten pages for a flagship review.
5. Clarification
A thirty-minute call resolves open questions. If the mandate shifted during the window, we say so on the page rather than silently stretching the original scope.
When we decline
Same-day notes without prior booking, mandates that require regulated investment advice, or requests to rubber-stamp a conclusion already decided. We would rather keep the calendar clear than dilute the review.
